Petersen Publishing made other comic mags in the 60's and 70's.They were; CYCLEtoons, SURFtoons, and Hotrod Cartoons. These were all along the same lines as CARtoons, but they didn't last. CYCLEtoons and Hot Rod Cartoons ended in 1974, and I believe SURFtoons ended in 1969.Click below to check 'em out.
I've been told by Nelson Dewey that there was once a Petersen mag called SKItoons. I am searching all over to find one. There is also a rumor of a KARToons.
UPDATE......Thanks to Pete Millar for scans of these 2 mags I had heard of, but never seen.I believe both were only made for one issue.
There were also some mags put out by other publishing companies, that were very similar to Petersens' mags. A few of them were: Wacky Wheels, Choppertoons, Breezy Rider, and you've probably heard of Drag Cartoons, and Racin'toons.
