In 1975 George Trosley created Krass and Bernie. Loosely patterned after him and his brother- Bernie (George) the tall slim one, and Krass (his brother Harold) his short sidekick. As in real life, Bernie was full of ideas but short on patience, while Krass was meticulous and steady paced.

Krass and Bernie were the first story in every issue of CARtoons magazine from 1975-1991. Because of their popularity, some issues had two stories in them. Most episodes had them in some sort of bind or time crunch, but they always seemed to pull it off. They were into two things: Cars and Girls. They could whip out a full custom car overnight, and still have time to go pick up some babes.

CARtoons magazine ended in August 1991, but the spirit of Krass and Bernie kept on. So much so, that in 2005 Car Craft magazine brought back our two favorite motorheads to continue their wild adventures.
